Ornamentation, the makers of Design Effects, an award-winning line of beautiful and distinct artistic carpentry elements.

Our mission is to collaborate with the design community to create unique artistic carpentry solutions for a diverse range of commercial and residential design challenges. Ornamentation delivers concierge service and carefully crafted, tailored designs to support inspired designers and their vision.

Founder Leann Fernald is a self-taught artist and designer. She has been practicing her craft in the valley since 2003, originally specializing in specialty paint finishing and furniture rehabilitation, her scope quickly grew to include décor and design services. Transitioning to a Maker company in 2013, she can now be found back in the shop sanding and finishing custom, decorative fretwork or in the field collaborating with design teams to bring a signature element to their projects.
